I have been having some calf problems and compression guards were recommended. I have been using them for a few weeks, using them for running and cycling and so far I have had no issues, which is a positive result. I do have a minor criticism, which another reviewer has mentioned. I take a 91/2 shoe and have knobby ankles! After measuring my calf the chart recommends a small compression guard - With this size I struggle to get them on and off, and i am little nervous if they are going to rip. Obviously they are designed to compress the calf so I shouldn't be surprised? It would be interesting to try a different manufacturer and compare the fit? Anyway so far they intact and I would recommend giving them a try.

I bought these as a friend told me they work better than the skins ones I already have. Personally I found them no better or worse than the skins version. The foot holes are too small (I am size 9.5 and had to forceably stretch them until the elastic has given way to get them on).
I think they do help with calf issues. I found when I have an injured calf a support with Velcro which you can pull really tight around your calf is better than these. But they are good for regular use if you are prone to calf issues.....

I love 'em. I use these for recovery, I run in much tighter variants. My advice, err on the small side.

Great addition to my running arsenal. I've only warn them on two runs but felt the benefit from the very first run. Great calf support and didn't have the normal fatigue 3/4 the way through 4 day a week 5K run.

I have a few pairs of calf guards but these are the easiest to put on. Material is comfortable and they look good. I’ll be buying more.

I reviewed a number of similar products and opted to spend a little more on the 2XUs as I was concerned by comments for cheaper calf guards which had a tendency to fall down during exercise. I have been using these 2-3 times a week for about a month now and am delighted with them. They are easy to get on and off, fit well and feel tight enough to be useful but not too tight.

I have suffered tendon issues whilst running and found these to be a godsend. They are just what the doctor ordered!

Having been a runner for many years, I had reached an age where I was suffering from regular calf injuries, to the point where I was seriously considering having to stop training. These calf guards have helped me run pain and injury free for the first time in months. They provide great support and have given me the confidence to keep running. The best bit of running kit I have ever bought.

Great product, suffered with numerous lower led problems from shin splints to calf strains etc. Don't feel a thing when I run with the sleeves on but bit of pain after, however if i leave the sleeves on after they recover super quick.
